The Brief
Design Delivery Unit delivered the last phase of this highly successful development in West London. Consisting of 415 residential apartments centred around high quality external landscaped spaces. The development embraces a strong relationship with the water, which flows between all buildings, stitching the site together and referencing its historical context.
Added Value
As part of our role on the project a validation review of the optimised design was undertaken. Our considerable experience at optimising layouts for the client allowed efficient and productive review sessions to be held with the design architects. We worked with the design architects to find a product that met the client’s aspirations something we always embrace and drive forward.
Technical Challenges
The pinnacle of the design is the 30 storey tower which benefits from fantastic views across the capital. We used our experiences from other sites such as Atlas and Centenary Quay for the specialist unitised panel design of the tower. Our experience of delivering this building typology allowed us to work confidently with the other consultants to meet the client’s high expectations to create a striking piece of architecture.
